Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Minimal weekend requirements (approximately once every 2-3 months, 1-3 hours max) | No holiday requirements

Key Responsibilities

Treat 8-12 patients per day in 30- to 45-minute treatment blocks
Manage a caseload that is approximately 90% outpatient and 5-10% inpatient evaluations, with a PTA covering the ongoing inpatient treatment load
Evaluate and treat patients across acute care and swing bed settings
Address a patient population consisting of approximately 90% orthopedic diagnoses and 5-10% general weakness and neurological conditions
Collaborate with rehab support staff, including a rehab aide, to deliver quality patient care
Adhere to facility timekeeping requirements, including clocking in and out on-site

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Wisconsin (or eligibility)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard contract rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
Familiarity with acute care and swing bed settings
Ability to work efficiently alongside PTAs and rehab support staff
