About the Position

• Requirements: Board Certified, Need to be open to some of the 2026 dates available, Must be NY Licensed. 
• Schedule: 
  • 24 hour call (7a-7a) as of 10/13: 
  • Nov 17
  • Nov 25-27 
  • Dec 7
  • Dec 11
  • Dec 16 
  • Dec 23-27 
  • Dec 30
  • Jan 1-2

• Type of Coverage: Call (from Hotel)
• Call Type: Beeper call - The provider has to round on maternity and cover the ED.
• Avg. Call # per 24 hours: 4-6 calls
• Deliveries really depends, could be 0 and could be 4
• How many hours does it take to round? Depends on census 1 - 2 hours
• Avg call back hours expected during 24 hour call shift? Depends, 2
• Is there support staff: Yes, support staff in the ED and on the maternity/delivery floor
